This is about music, of course, not about relationships. Or is it? When we create a song from the foundation up, one of the most influential and important (albeit unglamorous) skills is developing an ear to understand all that we are hearing.

While we are all excellent at appreciating music, we can often take for granted all the intricate
parts of a song that are carefully mixed to bring forth what the artist most wants to share with you.
There are the soft hidden parts that support the feeling behind the big picture. There are
different frequencies that can be applied to every instrument and voice. There are ways to pan
certain sounds to the left, right, front or rear of the sound stage.
